What is this? Where am I?

Kenan was in front of a door, in an all-white room. The door looked very familiar, just like when he was a child. When his father had an accident at work and was hospitalized. Kenan tremblingly opened the doorknob, and a completely white room and a white patient bed appeared.

What was happening?

Kenan walked slowly, his legs a little hesitant, but he forced them anyway. He saw a man being treated with several beeping machines and several cables tangled around his body. And, a small inscription on the table displayed the patient's name. Kenan studied it carefully.

Kenan's vision went white, his soul being pulled back, and he left the figure quickly. Kenan's soul was being sucked away quickly.

Kenan opened his eyes, his hands strangely robotic. Eh! What is this? Kenan shook his head, hoping to clarify whether he was dreaming or in reality. He opened his arms, and around him, a fiery explosion erupted.

"Kenan! Are you back? We've successfully fused. Now, I'm inside your body, becoming one force. You've reached the ultimate level."

The voice of the Lightning Sword.

"Where are you, Lightning Sword?" Kenan asked.

"I've covered your body with armor; this explosion won't be able to harm you."

The explosion continued, the sound of fire and thunder ceaseless.

"Where is Princess Kalya?" Kenan looked around; there was nothing but destruction.

"I'll make everything clear from now on. First, our shared memories are a certainty because we fused. Our power will be the deciding factor in our mission to destroy demons and monsters. Second, I'm free!"

"What do you mean, you're free?" Kenan asked.

"My mission in this world is twofold: first, to defeat demons and monsters. Second, if I fail, I simply need to fuse with the hero who will save this earth. After the fusion, I have the choice to be freed from the curse or to continue my mission."

"So...? You tricked me, Lightning Sword!"

"No one tricked you! If we hadn't fused, you might have perished in Cyton's explosive energy!"

Oh, shit!

If Lightning Sword could be freed from the curse, he would be gone, and Kenan would be left to fight alone.

"Okay, but what about Princess Kalya? Where is she now!" Kenan shouted.

A voice echoed from Kenan's body, the sound coming from the particles all over Kenan's outer body. His body was covered in armor.

"One thing you don't know about my power. I can reverse time, though not dominantly. Now, as a reward for my freedom, I will reverse time, and therefore I need your help."

Kenan's hands moved on their own, opening in front of him, as if they were about to merge. A thin energy surrounded Kenan's hands, and Kenan followed the movement. Kenan's hands moved on their own, the energy growing denser and larger, and then exploded. The light grew, and Kenan saw the world upside down, the billowing smoke rewinding backward, like a movie scene being replayed.

SHUTTTTT! SHUTTTTT!

The explosion replayed, an impossible sight. Kenan saw Princess Kalya's body begin to reform after being destroyed, the smoke clearing, and the explosion now refocused toward the sky. Just as Cyton was about to unleash the energy of the explosion, the energy shrank back down and returned to Cyton's hands.

Time truly rewound, and everything before Kenan's eyes.

"I can't do more than that, Kalandra. My energy is drained, and I need time to rest. From now on, I leave it to you to end that monster!"

So... time rewound!

"Die, all of you! I will take you to hell with me! I will avenge my army!"

Cyton's scream rang out, and Kenan knew it was the attack Cyton was about to unleash. Princess Kalya stared at Kenan, exactly as she had before.

"Perhaps this is the end of my life, Kalandra. Thank you for saving me..."

"Enough, Kalya! Don't even think about dying here. I will save you!"

Whoosh!

Kenan shot forward, charging. The speed shocked Kalya; it was a speed she couldn't possibly keep up with. That speed was impossible for any living creature to achieve.

"Don't even dream of stopping me...!"

BRUSH!

The giant monster Cyton didn't even have time to finish his sentence. Kenan quickly swung his hand, and the shadow of Kenan's body flashed so fast that Cyton's eyes couldn't see it anymore. Cyton felt a massive energy strike his head, shattering his hand, which was controlling his final attack. An explosion of energy erupted in the air as Cyton's body exploded from Kenan's powerful attack.

BOOM! BLLLAAAAARRR!

Kenan passed through the powerful explosion and floated in the air. Watching Cyton's shattered body collapse, he created a powerful blast of air.

Kenan's hair fluttered in the wind, flowing down, and Kenan immediately shot toward Princess Kalya. Kalya realized for a moment that Kenan was already in front of her. His speed was like teleportation; she couldn't follow it with her eyes. Kenan's body was clad in red armor, gleaming like tiny nano-energy fused with strong steel.

"What a powerful, magical armor!" Kalya blurted out.

"We must hurry, Princess Kalya. An army of demons and monsters is attacking the human kingdom; if we're late, we won't have another chance."

Crack! Splash!

"Kenan, I can't last long with the fusion. I need to rest because I'm using my special power to rewind time. My magical energy is at its lowest."

"Thank you, Lightning Sword. And, I beg you to accompany me in fighting the demon king and the monster king. I will fulfill your every wish, I promise. You may not return yet; you must complete your mission."

The Lightning Sword remained silent in Kenan's grasp.

Kenan couldn't force the sword. However, Kenan desperately needed the Lightning Sword's help. Kenan realized after the fusion that the Lightning Sword was human.

"Princess Kalya, let's return. We will fight again for the final battle against the Demon King and the Monster King."

Princess Kalya nodded, "This is a battle that will define history. Fighting against thousands of years of demon and monster domination. Of course, being able to live free and independent is our dream. Even if it means death, it is a price worth paying so that generations of humans and elves can live in peace and happiness."

Kenan nodded.

The final battle was ready to begin. Kalya summoned her magical bird, flapped its wings, and the two of them jumped onto its back.

The bird flew at high speed, and Kalya watched Kalandra. She looked very serious, not joking around as usual. Perhaps something was bothering her.

"There's no need to worry too much about the outcome of the war!" said Princess Kalya, her hair flowing. Her beauty captivated Kenan, just like Luna in his world. However, Princess Kalya's ears were pointed upwards, typical of the Elf race.

"Why do you say that?" Kenan asked, puzzled.

Princess Kalya smiled, "In this world, battles against demons and monsters have been going on for thousands of years. We are accustomed to war and blood. It's okay to fight to the death. However, if that war has the hope of bringing peace, even if we lose, it's worth it. Hope, as long as we have hope and can smile tomorrow. That is happiness for us."

Kalya looked ahead, a gust of air hitting her face. The magic bird was soaring. Kenan looked at Kalya and smiled.

"You're right, I worried too much. I was afraid we'd lose."

Pluk!

Kalya patted Kenan's shoulder, "I know you're not from this world. That means there's hope for defeating the monsters and demons. I just need to believe that, since you were able to awaken my mother from her long slumber. I'm ready to fight alongside you."

Kenan smiled, looking ahead.

Let's fight! Without fear or worry anymore.

"Thank you, Kalya."

We were almost there, battle raging everywhere. Energy explosions and booms could be heard. The gate was visible in the distance, crumbling. Kenan and Kalya flew quickly through the army of monsters and demons, past giants and weaving to avoid their attacks.

The energy bird stopped in midair. Kenan couldn't move, his body trembling near the ruined royal courtyard. The Demon King and the Monster King sat facing each other, a good distance away. In front of them, several kings were tied up, including Alex and Haruga. Team Aeera was down and bound with energy bonds. Everyone was defeated!

No way!

The Demon King, Helios, waved his index finger, and a figure floated from another direction. The body floated and couldn't move, telekinetic energy affecting it, and it hovered near Helios. It was the girl who was making a pained sound.

"AEEERRAAAA!"

Kenan's scream echoed, energy exploding from his body. He shot toward Helios, ignoring everything. Kenan was consumed by rage.
