Call of Lightning
46. Final Battle (Chapter One)
Helios lost his summon, and his sword, even with its strongest energy, couldn't kill it. His three attacks failed, and the summon was now floating in the air, while the legendary sword hovered before him.
A massive explosion erupted, and Helios's sword energy attack even struck many of his troops outside the Saranjana kingdom gates.
Kenan exhaled slowly, floating toward the Lightning Sword and grasping it. After distorting time and returning to the present, the Lightning Sword had already sacrificed its energy and soul. The Lightning Sword had reached its limit, and now it was Kenan's turn to fight.
"Master Swordmaster, do you hear me?"
There was no response. Kenan knew now that the Master Swordmaster's soul was gone, leaving only the Lightning Sword.
"Hey, Helios! I've survived your three attacks, release Aeera now!" Kenan shouted, pointing the tip of the sword at Helios.
Helios's eyes widened, enraged. Meanwhile, Aeera was shocked. Why hadn't Lord Kalandra disappeared along with the cessation of the connection between the wizard and his summon?
"I lied to you; no demon keeps its promises. Even though you're strong and unbreakable, if I kill this witch, you'll surely perish with her! Ha... ha... ha...!"
Helios moved the energy in his hand, and Aeera, who was floating in the air, was crushed by his magical telekinesis. Helios wanted to crush Aeera's body with his power.
"Die with the witch who summoned you!"
WHOOSH!
BRUSH!
Helios's eyes widened, shocked. Just as his hand was about to crush Aeera's body, he suddenly lost control. He saw Aeera's shackles break free from his influence, and the summoned creature was already near her, saving her.
How could this be?
In fact, his right hand fell to the ground, and it was because of the swift attack that severed Helios's hand.
Impossible!
All eyes were on Kenan; his movements were difficult to see with the naked eye. He shot out and slashed at Helios's giant hand. Kenan grabbed Aeera's waist and descended.
"Lord Kalandra, how can you survive here? I've already severed ties... how can you..."
Kenan smiled and nodded, releasing Aeera and handing her over to Princess Kalya, who was on the ground.
"Now, I'm no longer your summoned creature, Aeera! I came here by gathering energy from my world and entering this world. Now, leave the rest to me. Kalya, please protect Aeera."
Kenan floated back and left the two women.
Helios was a little daunted, but he still had his strength. Helios conjured a new arm, despite using quite a bit of energy.
"Horus! We must unite against that human! He's stronger than I thought!" Helios shouted to Horus.
The demon king and the monster king had never fought together before. They usually divided their territories, and even often fought over territory. However, Horus realized that the human possessed the Thunder Sword and had great power. They must join forces.
Horus ordered his monster army to destroy all humans and all other races, and Helios followed suit, shouting at his demonic army to destroy everyone in sight.
A great battle was inevitable. Kenan prepared himself to face two kings at once.
This was the final battle.
"Master of the Sword, even though you are no longer here, I will use the weapon you left behind to end this war."
Wooonggg!
"Fusion! Unite with me, Sword of Lightning!"
Kenan channeled energy into his sword, and it split apart, forming armor around Kenan's body. It was a very strong armor, and with that abundant energy, Kenan reformed an energy sword in his hand.
An energy attack came from Horus's mouth, a powerful cosmic blast. Kenan used his sword and split Horus's energy attack. The energy split and destroyed Kenan's right and left sides, causing massive destruction behind Kenan. Their battle resulted in the further destruction of several royal buildings.
The remaining human and elf forces fought against the monster and demon forces on the other side. They didn't want to be affected by the battle between Kalandra and the two powerful kings.
BOOM!
CLANG!
Helios's sword struck Kenan's enlarged sword.
Outmatched, the tiny Kenan faced two giant monsters. Kenan knew what to do, energy flowing through his body. He had to enlarge his body to match the armor.
