Legend of the Lightning Strike
37. Heart Dragon Disappears
Lao grew increasingly excited, seeing the dark forces attacking him relentlessly from all directions. Glowing discs, intertwined with the original disc, also attacked the dark forces.
All the dark forces seemed to simply smirk and mock Lao. It was time to exact revenge for what Lao had experienced. Occasionally, Lao was deflected by enemy attacks that found an opening, and Lao continued to jump and counterattack. And so the endless battle continued.
As Lao gathered his energy to prepare for the onslaught of the dark forces, suddenly, his entire vision seemed to burn, replaced by a new dimension. The dark forces seemed to disappear one by one, turning into nothing but crumbling ashes.
This is?

In another dimension, Alicia was still happily playing in the water, with several animals chasing each other, in a serene atmosphere. Alicia's smile was so happy that she strolled happily throughout the space.
Beautiful butterflies flew around Alicia, as if inviting her to play with them. How wonderful it would be to stay here forever, calm and cool. As Alicia smiled in awe again, the dimensions of her vision suddenly faded. The sights she saw disappeared one by one. Butterflies, other animals, the blue sky, and all the trees seemed to have been burned to ashes.
As everything vanished like ashes, a large room appeared in Alicia's place. Was this an illusion?

Everyone who had emerged from the Heart Dragon illusion was still asking questions and wondering about the current situation. Everyone gathered in the large room, which was inside Dompai.
They began to realize they were trapped in an illusion, and now realized they were taking part in the third test to become a Heavenly Troop. They looked at each other, and two strangers appeared at the edge of their vision. The two intruders who had previously fought with them.
Their gazes now fell on a spear that had previously stood upright and emitted a shimmering light, trapping them all in the illusion. The upright staff was no longer in its place. It was now in the hands of Aji, who was standing next to Gayatri.
The jewel on the tip of the spear, encased in golden carvings, was also gone. They had all broken free from the illusion, and that was all because the Heavenly Secret artifact was no longer on the spear tip. So, where was the artifact?
"Hand over the Dragon Heart! I won't hurt any of you!" Jasum immediately became furious, trying to regain his senses. The illusion that had trapped him earlier was truly like reality, where he was facing the Lightning Striker head-on.
Mora drew her two swords, noticing that the young Heavenly Troop members weren't going to make things easy for them. She stood at attention, holding both swords in each hand, and approached Jasum, the team leader.
As if a fight was inevitable, Gayatri quickly took two steps forward and immediately raised her arms to her sides. Energy blades in the form of glowing daggers appeared around her, ready to strike.
The two intruders, Mora and Jasum, also prepared themselves. They sensed that it would be difficult if all twenty or so Heavenly Troop members teamed up and attacked them simultaneously. However, the artifact was a crucial key to the rise of the dark forces to rule the world.
Aji spun the spear he held; it turned out he had hidden the Heart Dragon artifact. He and Gayatri knew about it, so Aji had to use his powers to remove the Heart Dragon barrier and break through it to break the Heart Dragon illusion. This was necessary to regain consciousness for all the Heavenly Army participants.
Aji's spun spear then stopped and aimed at the two intruders. Aji threw the spear at them with great speed, a swift and powerful attack. Mora and Jasum dodged to the left and right.
Craakkk!
The spear struck the floor hard, right in the middle of them. Jasum and Mora seemed to be holding back their anger. Their kind request to hand over the Dragon Heart seemed to have been insulted by the spear being thrown. This meant they would fight.
Mora and Jasum gathered their energy. Their battle inside Dompai seemed inevitable, and the Heavenly Army participants prepared to fight the two intruders, who were already known to be from the dark forces.
The Heavenly Army participants also realized that the two intruders were no ordinary subordinates of the dark forces. They were likely at least tier four or three. Tier one would naturally be the Demon Lord, tier two would be the Demon Lord's direct subordinates or confidants, tier three would be those below tier two, and so on.
If the intruders were tier three, then their strength might even be on par with rank 8 martial artists. They were powerful enemies, and teamwork was key to victory against them.
All the Heavenly Army participants stood ready, their weapons drawn. The magical energy, the power of assassins, warriors, and supports, gathered. They now felt they were on the same path and could form a battle team that would make history for the future of the world. To bring justice to the world, they were needed and must work together.
Aji was curious, and he even wanted to see the extent of the Heavenly Army's cooperation. He was challenged to see how they would work together to defeat an enemy stronger than themselves.
It was time to see the show, to see if they were worthy and ready to fight once again against the rioters, the Demon Lord's army.
Aji wanted to test them.
A second later, without command, Alicia flew upward, wind energy enveloping her feet. She floated upward, leaving Aji, who had been standing next to her. Alicia floated, gathering hundreds of glowing daggers like sharp needles.
The energy daggers began to vibrate. Mora and Jasum knew it was a long-range attack and prepared.
"HIIIIIAAAAAA!"
Alicia charged, slamming both her hands forward. And, hundreds of glowing needles and daggers came pouring down in a barrage, aiming at the two intruders, Mora and Jasum.
Klang! Klang!
A barrier formed from Jasum's power, and the energy daggers bounced off it as if they couldn't reach Jasum. Mora, on the other hand, dodged and deflected the energy daggers with her two swords. The two of them easily avoided all of Alicia's attacks.
The other Heavenly Troops also charged towards the two intruders; now they had to unite.
