Legend of the Lightning Strike
43. Everyone Retreat!
"Their time is almost up, Advisor Grandpa Nurin," Chief Yarko tried to remind Elder, or Grandpa Nurin. He saw Grandpa Nurin still sitting quietly, seemingly meditating.
"Wait a little longer. If the exam time is almost over and they haven't come out, then we'll go inside."
Grandpa Nurin explained, but he was also having trouble with his own spiritual perspective. It was about the Dragon Heart. The power of the Dragon Heart had vanished as if it had been destroyed without a trace. The Dragon Heart was one of the Three Heavenly Secrets. Not just anyone could touch it, let alone absorb its power.
Then... why couldn't Grandpa Nurin even sense its presence anymore? It was as if it had simply vanished. Not a shred of energy remained for Grandpa Nurin to detect.

Jasum looked angry, losing his concentration in the fight. This happened after seeing Mora's body hit by an energy sword, sending her crashing to the floor in the Dompai room.
He had just knocked the arrogant young man to the floor with a powerful attack. However, when he turned to his companion, Mora had also fallen from the simultaneous attacks of three men.
"Not open enough!" Jasum's anger boiled over. He unleashed all the dark energy within his body. A dark cloud enveloped his body like a burning fire, enveloping his entire body. Shadows seemed to be ready to attack.
Energy overflowed from Jasum's body, and he was about to launch himself at the men who had knocked Mora down. And just as his energy began to form a booster for his flight, he suddenly stopped, only to be able to continue his attack.
Something was tightly restraining his legs; it was an intertwined energy chain. Who did it?
From the edge of the wall, the young man Jasum, who had just knocked away, was now holding an energy chain connected to him. The energy was created by a female warrior with elemental support abilities. It was Gayatri.
Gayatri no longer had enough energy, so Aji asked her to combine her energies and interlock them, then throw them at Jasum's feet. Aji jumped and pulled on the energy chain.
"Damn brat!"
Damn!
Before he could finish speaking, Aji immediately channeled energy into both hands and pulled the chain towards him with great force.
Jasum tried to resist by pushing the energy away. However, the force of the pull was so fast and powerful that her body couldn't maintain its balance and was simply pulled away. The young man's strength didn't diminish even after being knocked away. What kind of monster was he?
Jasum's body was pulled towards Aji, and Jasum prepared to attack Aji with force. He also prepared to launch a powerful punch filled with dark clouds. His body was pulled, and he simultaneously mobilized his strength with a powerful energy.
Wooossshhhh!
Aji let go of the energy chain he was holding; enough was enough. He pulled his hands back and prepared to meet Jasum's blow. It seemed Jasum's power had been fully utilized. The energy flow was felt shimmering everywhere. Aji had to use his strength, too.
Their fists collided, forming dark and light energy that clashed.
BOOM!
As the two fists met, a flash of light filled the entire room inside the Dompai. The dark and light energies rolled and exploded in all directions. It was a massive explosion of energy that could destroy anything.
All eyes were on them, but they struggled because the energy explosion was so powerful that they couldn't withstand it.
Blaaarrrrr!
The power struggle erupted, and everyone's vision went blank. For a moment, no one could see. All the warriors were curious and waited, straining their eyes to see what the outcome would be. However, the energy glow hadn't completely disappeared.
The smoke and mist of energy seemed to slowly dissipate, though not yet fully visible. It seemed like a figure remained behind the lingering mist. A figure stood tall, and gradually, the figure's face began to become faintly discernible. Everyone became increasingly curious: had Aji defeated Jasum, or had he been defeated?
The figure then came into view; it was Aji Bagaskara. The figure before him was the perfect Jasum, fallen face down, his body covered in dark wounds. Jasum had returned to his original state, his Demon Transformation gone. He also stopped moving and fell unconscious, completely still and without any energy left.
Meanwhile, Mora, who had also been knocked down by Ganada, hadn't gotten up. They had all succeeded, but they didn't have much time left. Only three minutes remained since they entered the Dompai tunnel. The original three hours to escape Dompai were now just three minutes away.
The exit to the end of Dompai was still quite far away, and time was ticking away. If they didn't escape Dompai soon, none of them would pass. They were all already injured, so only a few would make it.
So, would they abandon their comrades and use high speed to reach the end of Dompai, leaving the others behind?
The Sky Troop participants themselves still couldn't comprehend how Aji had taken down Jasum with that one attack. This time, the exam time was almost up in a matter of seconds.
Everyone was at a loss for what to do. If they ran, they might still have a chance, but would the others be able to do the same?
Gayatri approached Aji, "Excuse me, what should we do now, Aji?" Gayatri felt that Aji had the potential to be a leader. She had personally witnessed the clash. Although she couldn't see with her eyes, Gayatri could see the energy released during the clash through her special eye power, which saw through energy colors. Barsha, Alicia, and the others, especially Nagada, moved toward Aji. They were quite exhausted after the battle with Mora. The other Heavenly Troop members also seemed to be called to approach Aji, all of them.
All the participants looked at Aji, as if they would obey whatever Aji was about to do.
"Show us the way, Aji," Nagada looked at Aji and nodded.
Aji moved to the side, approaching the Dompai wall. "Follow me!" All the Heavenly Troop members followed Aji's lead until they neared the Dompai wall. If they were to reach the end of Dompai, not everyone could reach it. Aji saw that the only way was a shortcut.
Aji stepped back, pulled back his right arm, and energy surged from his fist. "Retreat!"
And... Aji slammed his fist into the Dompai wall with all his might.
BOOM!
Once again, there was a thunderous roar. Despite the level 8 barrier, the wall shattered, scattering dust. The wall left a large hole, and several guards outside, surrounding Dompai, were shocked. The guards immediately jumped back, as the Dompai wall they were guarding had been destroyed.
