Legend of the Lightning Strike
62. The Secret of Ganada's Peak Power
"Is a warrior a being created with the energy of three legends?" That curious question escaped the warrior Jiro's lips. He was deeply curious about Aji.
How could he not be? This young man had already surpassed himself so greatly. He might have been a created being, or a product of magical power, or something else. He mastered the abilities of all three legends so well. Be it the speed of Ganada, the magic of Yonan, or the warrior power of the Lightning Striker.
Aji was confused; warrior Jiro's thinking was quite strange. However, this was perhaps understandable, as people might not believe he possessed such great power at such a young age. He himself couldn't reveal his identity carelessly, as his mission was to fight the Demon Lord directly. Everything he did was in preparation for a successful defeat.
This was unlike 20 years ago, when the three legends had fought without any preparation.
Back then, Shura's power truly shocked the three legends. The power of darkness, the Blood Supreme artifact, and, of course, Shura's training. It was all perfect for obliterating the world, plunging it into darkness.
While performing a ritual to absorb thousands of souls and energy, three legends attempted to stop him. They were able to thwart Shura's power ritual, even though it cost them their lives.
Aji was at a loss for words to tell Warrior Jiro, "I can't explain much about myself. However, you could say I'm a disciple of those three."
That was all he could tell Warrior Jiro. Jiro didn't dare ask any more questions, but he was certain that the young man before him had a great mission in his presence in the martial arts world. After so long without hearing his name, he didn't want to reveal his strength.
Warrior Jiro also realized why he had been invited to compete in Dompai—to keep his strength secret.
"There's one reason I told Warrior Jiro my power; it's related to the legend of Saint Ganada!"
Warrior Jiro looked shocked; he had recovered all his strength. He was now listening intently to the young man's explanation, especially when he mentioned Ganada. A figure who had actually been his teacher for a time, and no one knew much about it.
Long ago, shortly before the outbreak of the Great War, the warrior Jiro met with the saint Ganada, seeking his guidance and guidance.
They engaged in a duel. At the time, the warrior Jiro was still very young. He couldn't withstand Ganada's power for long; he was defeated within a minute. The speed of Ganada's attacks was the cause of his swift defeat.
Jiro desperately wanted to learn the speed of an assassin from the saint directly. Ganada, for some reason, upon seeing the young Jiro's strong desire, accepted him and promised to teach him for at least a year.
Jiro was trained rigorously by Ganada, training him in speed through extremely rigorous training. By the end of the year, Jiro had mastered the eighth level of his Ghost Speed ability.
Ganada acknowledged the speed of young Jiro's training. However, time didn't allow them to go far together. Chaos broke out everywhere, and even the Demon Lord plotted to rule the world with his trusted Five Gates.
Ganada had to say goodbye, and they parted ways. At that time, Jiro had not yet mastered the ultimate level of the secret of Ghost Speed. Ganada also gave him a profound message: that he would teach him the ultimate technique to seal Ghost Speed's power, if they met again.
Before Ganada and the young Jiro parted ways, Ganada explained why he accepted Jiro to train him. It was because his passion was the same as his friend, the Lightning Striker. He never tired of training, and he wanted to master the pinnacle of martial arts and bring justice to all.
Seeing the young Jiro, Ganada took a great liking to him because his demeanor resembled that of the Lightning Striker.
The promise to meet again was unfulfilled; Ganada never taught him the ultimate technique of Ghost Speed. Hearing the events of the Great War and the news of the deaths of the three legendary saints left Jiro deeply saddened for a long time.
However, he believed that the three legends would not die. They must be healing from the wounds they suffered from the battle.
However, for over twenty years, there was no news of the three legends. Until this time, he met Aji, who claimed to be a disciple of the three legends.
"I will fulfill Saint Ganada's promise to grant you enlightenment at the peak of Ghost Speed. That was the last thing the legend Ganada told me. He still has a promise to you. He will not rest in peace until he fulfills his promise to you, Warrior Jiro!"
The young man's words truly touched Warrior Jiro's heart. Jiro had waited over twenty years for his master. He didn't want to demand his promise from his special master; he simply wanted to meet his teacher.
"Is it impossible for him to return to this world?" Jiro couldn't hold back his tears, even though he was already over 30 years old. However, he longed for his time with Saint Ganada.
Those were wonderful times for Jiro; he trained with Saint Ganada, and their bond grew strong.
"That's impossible. He left a message to fulfill his promise to you."
Warrior Jiro still seemed to be shedding tears, but at least he felt relieved that Ganada still remembered him. He hadn't even thought much about the final secret of Ghost Speed.
"Are you ready, Warrior Jiro?" Aji interrupted his reverie.
"Yes!" Warrior Jiro nodded.
Aji moved his hand forward and near Warrior Jiro's head. "I will transmit the secret energy of the supreme power of Saint Ganada. This will enter your internal sea of energy. You must digest and cultivate it."
A thin energy radiated from Aji's palm. He approached Warrior Jiro's head and channeled the energy from his subconscious.
Warrior Jiro concentrated and sensed the energy entering his internal sea. That... he saw movements and secrets formed with the energy in his mind. This kind of thing was done with intense focus and concentration, sharing power through connected minds.
This was... the secret of Ganada's power.
Warrior Jiro sensed everything, the secret of the final power that Ganada had yet to perfect for him. This power was extraordinary; Jiro recognized it, and he was eager to learn it.
He would undoubtedly need some time to perfect it.
"It's done," Aji drew energy from his right palm.
Jiro opened his eyes, then stood up, and saluted Aji. "If you are the official envoy of Master Ganada, then you are also my teacher. I salute you, and thank you for enlightening me."
"Rise," Aji touched Warrior Jiro's shoulders.
They both stood, and Aji nodded to Jiro.
"We still have a long way to go in continuing the struggle of the three legends. I hope this time the white warriors will unite and prepare to face Shura's ultimate attack. We must all prepare for that great battle."
Warrior Jiro understood now that the young man's thoughts were profound, and it felt as if he were facing a great teacher.
“You are right,” Jiro had also received a lot of information, that the movements of the Demon Lord’s army had begun to show their fangs.
