Dark Head Organisation
Aulus is one of the top five elite assassins in Dark Head. He watched his three colleagues: Solam, Jenni, and Argus. They had a closed-door meeting with an elite squad that originally consisted of five people. One of them was killed during a party. There was someone who had a grudge against him. The fifth figure among the elite members was James.
Aulus understood that James was the best assassin among the Dark Head's top five elites. His speed and way of working could not be beaten by anyone.
Aulus suspected that James was killed by his own colleagues within the Dark Head. However, he had no reason to suspect anything. That was because James' body was dropped from the building during a festive party to appreciate his success. He had just, after several months, targeted a most wanted rebel.
James bought the rebel's head for a very high fee. Assassin organisations don't care about the targets they target to kill. They only care about money and how much money the task is worth.
James was hardly autopsied; his body was crushed by a car under a tall building. Since then, Aulus has continued to suspect insider involvement. He must have wanted something by bringing James down.
"So... what do we decide, Aulus?" asked Solam; he was tired of them sitting and not talking. The leader of the Dark Head organisation was specially admitted to the closed-care section. He is well taken care of. He suddenly fell ill ten days ago. The leadership of Dark Head had to continue until the leader recovered.
"That's right," Jenni's voice was soft but sharp, "We are also preparing for a joint mission with a large payout. and, of course, ruling the entire country with General Bison. After that, we will be the strongest organisation among the others."
Aulus looked at the three people with him and said, "I don't know what to decide yet. All this time, we've always believed in three people, and there's only one person left."
Aulus remembered that the three most influential people were Dark Head's leader, Nagada's deputy leader, and finally the leader of the five elite troops, James. They were the three people who made Dark Head the most feared organisation among other assassin organisations.
James was declared dead, and his body was disposed of immediately after the incident. To eliminate traces from the body and avoid misuse. James' body was dumped in the middle of the ocean and drowned. Aulus witnessed the incident, and he was convinced that James died of poison.
An experienced killer would have known from the marks on James' body. However, Aulus covered that up. The shot to James' head was just to cover up what happened earlier. James had already been poisoned.
"We don't have much time; a decision must be made to join the joint mission immediately. We have to decide that at least only he is suitable to be the leader at this time."
Argus broke Aulus' concentration again. The direction of Argus' words must be Peter's. Peter was the deputy leader of the Dark Head. All this time, he had been competing fiercely with James to position himself as the right-hand man of the Dark Head leader. Both of them always showed the best performance for Dark Head.
Indirectly, there have been two candidates to replace the Dark Head leader: Peter and James.

Aulus took a deep breath.

Everyone was silent, and they decided by mutual consent. Peter would replace the ailing Dark Head leader. It was temporary, until the leader could recover.
Argus and Jenni smiled in their silence. They had planned all this.

Evening. Meeting between Inspectors in the city.
Police Inspectors from all over the city gathered at the city headquarters. They were scheduled to meet with the highest military officer in the city, Daren. Daren was famous for his strict attitude; he gathered all the inspectors under his military leadership.
Everyone had gathered. Daren came forward and delivered a speech. He said that crime across the city was increasing. So they were all asked to work more strictly to oversee security in the city. They, as police officers, could not rest easy while crime was on the rise.
All the inspectors gave enthusiastic applause. They would work harder to keep the city safe. although some of them also knew. This was a ceremonial event, and there were many journalists present. The hard work being documented would make up for their shortcomings behind the scenes.
One thing that surprised the inspectors. Daren's decision, he emphasised. To secure the safety of the citizens of the entire city. Therefore, shooting criminals was allowed. A journalist asked and was welcomed. He asked, What if the criminal was shot and died?
Daren smiled and replied.
"I'll take an easy analogy. If your mother is on the street and she is robbed, she might die. So anyone can be a victim. so as to deter the criminals. The punishment of shooting on the spot does not violate human rights. That's because protecting lives takes precedence over the feelings of the criminals themselves."
The journalist did not dare to argue anymore. That reasoning was finally acceptable to him. Being a victim of a crime is something no one wants. A criminal is sometimes reckless and can hurt his victims.
However, there is a question that journalists dare not ask. What if a police officer shoots a person, even if it is not a criminal? That is to say, what if it was a wrongful arrest or a wrongful shooting?

Jodi goes home first, saying goodbye to the other inspectors. This country, indirectly, needs total reform. Being honest, in this era, it is really hard to survive and only become a marginalised person.

"Mr. Khalid, I'm leaving first." Bagas picked up his bag and greeted Khalid, who was standing in the living room.

They walked outside.

Bagas was startled, and Khalid's voice was a little low.

"Today is Peter's inauguration. He replaces the leader of the organisation."
"Peter!" Bagas' voice was a little louder.

Several policemen rushed forward and grabbed Bagas by the shoulders. Bagas did not resist but was pushed and held by several policemen. Bagas just followed, and his hands were cuffed. Would he survive this time?
