Bams' shoulder was shot; he was in pain and immediately dodged another shot. Nova saw that the shot from Bagas was aimed at him. He was hard to avoid because he had just pushed his body back. 
There was no other way to survive, and Nova pulled Bagas' body towards him. He sacrificed his own partner, and the bullet went through Bams' head.

Nova realised Bams had been shot. Nova immediately jumped over the stair railing and fell down. He left Bams, who had been shot, his eyes open and died in a state of shock from being sacrificed by his own partner. 
In this world, everything is cruel. No one can sacrifice their life for others; they can only run and save themselves. That is the most important thing.
