Two Revenge of Lightning

30. Solam and Peter

Solam moved; he stepped with a smile. It was fine to sacrifice Katherine; on a mission, anything could happen. An assassin does risk death, and that's normal.
Srak!

Solam approached and saw Katherine's back on the young man's body. He readied his trident, making sure that the young man was taken care of. The night was cold, and the room was dim.
Bagas opened his eyes; he had seen how Solam sacrificed Katherine. The world of assassins is cruel. No matter what, the task of killing and completing missions is everything. They don't care about the fate of others or the families of their targets. Bagas will put an end to Dark Head and the assassins. He has a chance to live a second life. He had already decided he would finish off the entire assassin organisation with his own hands.
ultimate magic assassin. Healing activated. A strong determination to do good and wipe out the evil of the assassins. Your determination gives birth to the power of your mental toughness.
No way!
Bagas realised something: the stab wound that was painful before was now starting to lose its pain. His body was regenerating, like it was healing itself. This was a blessing from heaven. Bagas will do what has become his mission.
[You have a title change; you are an Assassin's Killing Machine.]
Woooossshh!
"What happened?" Solam was shocked; Katherine's body was moving. There was something moving from underneath Katherine's body. Was the young man able to wake up from the stab of his weapon?
Solam backed away, and Katherine's body was lifted and thrown towards him.
Wooossh!
"Damn it!" shouted Solam, and using his foot, speed was used to kick Katherine's body that was heading towards him.
Brush! Bug!
Katherine's body was knocked to the left side, and just as Solam turned his foot, A figure with a fast attack was on his right side. Bagas attacked at full speed; he used his dagger.
"I am the strongest assassin!" shouted Solam. He was still able to use his legs and spin his trident to parry Bagas' attack.
Klang!
"Not today, Solam!"
Woooshh!

Solam's trident bounced upwards; it was Bagas's power that struck hard. Trident slammed upwards, and Solam tried to retreat. He twisted his body, turned his legs, and aimed at Bagas, who continued to push him.
Slash!
AAAAAAHHHHHH!
Bagas had understood well; he pressed his foot to the floor, lunging and scraping Solam's leg. Solam was injured on his leg, and as he fell to the floor, At the same time, Bagas jumped quickly towards him. And his body was already pierced with a dagger that pierced his body.
AAAAAAHHHHH!
Uhuk! Uhuk!
Bagas collapsed on top of Solam, who could no longer move. Solam wanted to fight back. However, Solam's vision began to fade. Is this the end of her struggle as an assassin?

A few years ago.
That night, at the top of a tall building, Two people were on top of a magnificent building. One was at the end of the building and was looking at the crescent moon that was slightly covered by clouds.
"Solam, is our life as assassins just going to be slaves forever?" James' gaze looked at the darkness. His slightly long hair was flowing in the night breeze at the top of the building.
Solam looked at James' back; both of them had just completed a secret mission. They were on a mission to kill the same target. The target was the leader of a city; he was a city leader who liked to demand wages from his subordinates. In fact, he asked for tribute from businessmen. He also committed many crimes in his dark business.

"What do you mean by being a slave, James? You know we are assassins; our job is to get paid and kill. We were born to be the best, fastest, and most rewarded killers."
The wind blew.
"That's the problem, Solam. We are slaves, for whatever reason. It would be peaceful if we just became farmers and saw the crops we grow every day. We would enjoy life and not be preoccupied with fighting."
"That's not possible, James. We are killers, and we are already covered in blood."
James turned and moved towards Solam. James smiled. "I just wish, if only it could happen. I want there to be no killers like us in this world. We are not angels, so why are we busy taking care of other people's lives?"
James tapped Solam on the right shoulder and said, "Let's go; the police will be here in a minute!"
James walked on and left Solam behind. He reached the end of the building and jumped from there.
Wooosshh!
Solam turned around and followed James, the Shadow Eagle. He was feared by all assassins. And Solam had an assignment with him. Solam understood why he was called the fastest assassin. Solam had proven her speed in killing targets.

Three months ago.
"Solam, I plan to take over Dark Head."
Solam was surprised to hear Peter's confession. They were sitting in the secret room.
"What are you thinking, Peter? What do you want with it?" Solam couldn't believe Peter's words.
"Leader Thomas is too slow; he won't bring any progress to Dark Head. I will take over."
"That's not possible, Peter. I know you're talented, and you're evenly matched with Shadow Eagle. However, you won't be able to take over Dark Head as long as James is around."
"Ha... ha... ha! I'll synchronise him quickly, Solam. And I'll make you my right hand."
Peter taps Solam on the shoulder, his eyes glaring at Solam. Peter nodded as a signal for Solam to agree.

At this moment,
"Goodbye, Solam. Die in peace, and you are free from being a slave. You can become a farmer and make your crops green. You are free now!"
Bagas held the shoulders of Solam, who was still trembling and lying on the floor.
Clap!
Solam's bloodstained hand grabbed Bagas' wrist. His eyes had begun to open helplessly. He was trembling.

"James, I... believe now! Heaven is not silent; this is the karma we must get. I apologise for everything. You are indeed a shadow eagle. And... be careful of Peter!"
Srak!
Just as she said that last message to Bagas, Solam's hand dropped to the floor. Bagas already knew everything. Peter was the brains of everything in the Dark Head. He was also the one who planned to kill James. James was a danger to Peter; he wanted to control Dark Head.
Bagas stood up; he was determined. As long as he has time and opportunity in this world, he will eliminate all assassins in Dark Head; even all assassin organisations will be abolished.
[Sky's chance for James: 27 days left]
That was enough.
"Move quickly! Check inside!"
Shouts were heard from outside Mr. Mahmud's residence. Bagas also sharpened his eyes; he picked up the two pistols that had fallen on the floor.
Who was coming? Bagas didn't care; whoever came, he would finish them off!
