Two Revenge of Lightning
39. The time has come!
"Shoot him!" The soldiers got out of the car, one guarding Inspector Jodi. Four people got out and pointed their guns.
Bug!
Brush!
Brak!
The fight outside the car happened, and Jodi saw it. He had been targeted, and he knew what to do. As the soldier continued to look out the window, Jodi put his handcuffed hands around his neck.
Bug!
Jodi smashed the remaining soldier's head against the metal of the car. The soldier fainted, and Jodi got out with his hands still in cuffs. He saw several people already motionless near the car. The masked man who has been wanted and is in the news has come to free Jodi.
They look at each other. The masked man has taken the keys from one of the soldiers who has been dropped. He uncuffs Inspector Jodi.
Crack!
"It's time to move; tomorrow things will start. I've already informed you of the details. Then, it's up to you what you're going to do! said Shadow Eagle. He turned around and headed towards his car.
"Wait!" Inspector Jodi's voice stopped Shadow Eagle in his tracks.
"Why did you save me? And what did you do all this for?" asked Jodi curiously.
"You are an honest cop, Inspector. You will be the one to tell my story and the story of the traitor, General Bison. I don't know many honest policemen in this country, but I only know you. And what am I doing this for?
Clack!
Shadow Eagle opened his car door and got into his car.
"I have a grudge with all the assassins; I'm just after them!"
Brom!
The car turns around and leaves Inspector Jodi behind.
Jodi closed his eyes for a moment. He had sacrificed everything for this country. He was trying and working well and honestly, but all that did not affect whatsoever on the officials, who were greedy and even tried to get rid of him.
If honest people are removed from this country, then all that is left are those filled with greed and criminals. No! Jodi couldn't let the country crumble.
Inspector Jodi must fight back; he is a servant of the country. His life is immortalized to keep this country upholding justice. So, Jodi will take a step. Join the current of struggle and resistance.
Tomorrow everything will begin—the war and General Bison's evil strategy. Just as Shadow Eagle said,
A great enemy will be faced, and Jodi no longer cares what will happen to him. This country was more important to protect; he had to leave behind a free and honest generation.
I will fight! Jodi made his move; he started the car and turned around. He had decided to fight! Regardless of Shadow Eagle's goals for himself, he wants revenge.
Jodi doesn't care; his goal is to keep the country safe. Although he will be facing Bison's army, Jodi will fight back!

The chaos was spreading all over; gunshots could almost be heard in several places. Most people were afraid to leave their homes; they hid for a while. This was two days after General Bison's operation to resolve all the chaos in the country.
He used the list of targets he already had. Everyone was scared, between believing and not believing. However, everyone preferred to hide in their homes. They were waiting for things to settle down and for the government to resolve the crisis.
"Where are you going, Bagas?" asked Mahmud, who was in the living room. He saw Bagas putting on a shirt to leave the house.
"I have to go, Grandpa. I'm going to see my friend."
"It's dangerous, Bagas. There's chaos out there, and the police are arresting all the separatists and those who started the riots."
Bagas smiled.
"Trust me, Grandpa. I need to see my friend; it's something important."
Bagas' eyes looked up at his grandfather; he smiled and reassured with his eyes.
"Do you have to go? Mr. Mahmud stood up and approached Bagas. He noticed something very different about his grandson. However, he had been unconscious for more than five years. Since then, perhaps many things have happened to the boy.
That's right! He had been resilient, despite being abandoned by his parents in turn. And, not long ago, his mother also died in an accident. However, Bagas was resilient, and he had even solved the family's problems well.
Mahmud held both of his grandson's shoulders.
"Go, my grandson. However, remember to return home. This is your home and your family."
Bagas smiled. "Of course, Grandfather. This is the only home I have to return to. I have no one else except Grandfather."
"Do you need to be escorted by the guards?" asked Mahmud.
"No need, Grandpa. I will go alone."
Mahmud tried to believe in his grandson, believing that he could already determine his destiny and will. And, according to some reports about his grandson, He had rescued Nadia several times from thugs. He could fight well against several people at once.
So, he must have learned martial arts well. Perhaps, during Mahmud's unconsciousness, Bagas had found his true self and practiced to protect himself. He had become a mature person. Mahmud remembered his first son; he was very similar to the brave Bagas.
"Go!"
Mahmud's grandfather's words made Bagas turn to leave.
[Time of your life: 01/60 days]
Today was the day Bagas had been waiting for. The last day, the day when all the opportunities were given to fight against Dark Head, If indeed Dark Head joined the other six assassin organizations, Then Bagas didn't care. He would destroy them all.
[Title for you, Assassin Killing Machine]
A reward system awaits you for mission completion. If you fail, you will disappear from this world.
Time to go!
"Bagas!"
Bagas' steps halted, and he turned his head to the side. His chest was pounding; it was that woman again. Nadia. She was with her father, Morgan. Their family had been hiding in Mr. Mahmud's house during the chaos.
Both of them smiled.
"You have to promise to come back."
"Of course, Nadia. Bagas will always be there for you, even with his life!"
Clap! Clap! Clap!
Nadia ran and hugged Bagas, and everyone saw it. Nadia was dripping with tears; for some reason, she felt something strange in her mind. She felt that Bagas would go far away.
"You promised to take care of me; come home safely!"
"Of course."
Bagas let go of Nadia's embrace and said, "I have to go."
Bagas left everyone who loved him; he went out of the house and breathed in the air. He smiled.
The war was about to begin! His goal all along was right in front of his eyes!
Ha, ha, ha!
