"Stop!" Helios shouted, the energy grip around Aeera's body tightening.

Kenan stopped, floating in the air. His hand holding the Lightning Sword trembled, unable to attack. Aeera was in danger; if he attacked, Helios might destroy her body.

"Attack me, Summoned Beast! Quickly, attack me! If you attack, this girl's body will be destroyed!"

Kenan couldn't imagine what would happen to Aeera if he dared to advance. Kenan couldn't do anything now. Kenan's body trembled with rage. Why did he have to have a weakness? Being human or even a hero made no difference. His weakness was something that allowed him to be toyed with by the enemy.

"Kenan!" the Lightning Sword's voice rang out, and only Kenan could hear it.

"I can't fuse and control my powers now. I need time to recover; reversing time drains all my strength."

"What should I do, Master Sword?"

"Hold on, until I recover."

"Hold on, is that all?"

"Summoned Creature, I've heard you're very powerful. However, if you dare move, I'll kill this witch."

Helios knew the summoned creature's weakness.

"Stay still, and take my attack! If you can survive three of my attacks, I'll let this witch go!"

Kenan closed his eyes for a moment, imagining his mother's face. Mother, if I can see you again, I'll make her smile—that's my only hope. However, if I can't survive this battle, then I hope you're okay.

"Do it, Demon King! Where's your first attack?" Kenan shouted.

Helios, enraged, raised his right hand, which grew larger, and slammed hard into Kenan's small body.

"NOOOOO!" Aeera screamed, her tears streaming down her face as Kenan's body was struck by the energy of Helios's hand. Kenan's body was sent flying, rolling, and hitting the ground. The body slammed into the kingdom's walls and even knocked away some of the monster and demon troops.

BRUSH!

An explosion erupted as Kenan's body came to a halt.

It hurts so much! But I have to hold on. Aeera is waiting.

Kenan's body began to move, his fingers moving slowly, gripping the ground and trying to get up. Several wounds were visible, but Kenan rose. He looked from a distance at the demon king and monster king holding back the kingdom's dignitaries. Kenan floated again, his body exhausted. He slowly flew back toward Helios.

Aeera could no longer hold on, tears streaming down her face. Lord Kalandra had sacrificed his entire life to fight alongside her.

No, Lord Kalandra, no more sacrifices.

Kenan straightened up, and everyone looked at Kenan and shed tears. He was not of this world, merely a summoned creature of magical power. Yet, he was fearless and sacrificed himself.

"Where's your second attack, Helios!" Kenan shouted.

Helios snorted, thrusting his hand forward. The giant hand opened, black flames of energy beginning to form. It looked like Helios was about to unleash a powerful cosmic fire energy. Helios' energy flowed and concentrated in his hands, the circular energy continuing to condense and expand. The attack was ready to be unleashed.

"Don't dodge this attack, Summoned Beast! I bet your body will be destroyed by this!"

"Shut up, you ugly creature. Just do it and stop talking!"

"Damn it!" Helios was furious. He unleashed the energy, and the blast of energy slammed into Kenan's body with terrifying explosive force, shaking the earth and sky.

BOOM! BRUSH!

All the eyes of the humans and elves couldn't contain themselves; they couldn't do anything now. They witnessed the incredible sacrifice of a summoned creature for its wizard, even at the cost of its life.

The energy continued to push, extending, and an explosion like a volcano exploded in the distance. It formed a giant mushroom of energy that expanded upward.

Kenan felt his entire body burning. His body could no longer withstand the massive cosmic attack. Amidst the fiery explosion, Kenan stabbed the lightning sword he was holding into the ground. He tried to get up with the help of the Lightning Sword, propping it up and trying to stand.

Kenan nearly fell, but the energy from the sword helped him stand.

"Why did you come this far, Kenan Kalandra!" said the Lightning Sword.

Kenan was shocked, wondering how the sword knew his full name. However, Kenan now realized that when the fusion occurred, they shared a memory.

“I won’t stop, Master Sword. I’ve had a miserable life in my world, and I don’t want to be remembered as a coward in this world. At least, in this strange world, I’ll be remembered as a brave man.”

“Even if you have to die!” shouted the Thunder Sword.

Kenan smiled, “Before I left for the last time, I saw my mother smile. And that was enough for me. Even if I’m destroyed, if my mother smiles, then my world is fine.”

“You crazy brat!”

Kenan ignored the Thunder Sword’s shouts.

“Help me fly again, Master Sword. I must take Helios’s final attack. Please!”

“Fool! Do you think the Demon King is a being who keeps his promises? Don’t you know he’s lying to you to make you his plaything? Don’t you know what Cyton did to trick you into taking that witch girl captive?”

“I know, Master Sword.”

The Thunder Sword was silent for a moment, “If you know, why do you still want to take his attack? You fool!”

"Please help me get closer to Aeera, Master Sword."

"Why did you do that?" asked Lightning Sword. However, a faint energy enveloped Kenan's body and helped him fly. They were heading towards Helios' final attack.

"You should know, Lightning Sword. I did this to give you time to recover. After that, I'll have the chance to fuse once more and end this war!"

Lightning Sword couldn't believe it; besides, he had the option to end his punishment. If he wanted, he could leave Kenan and be free from his punishment. However, Lightning Sword had had a difficult time during his more than a thousand years imprisoned on Earth. He was curious and wanted to know the true reason for his punishment, so he wanted to find out.

Everyone saw a small energy in the distance, and they already thought the summoned creature had been destroyed. However, the energy grew closer, and the summoned creature flew away with its sword. Its injuries were quite severe. The Demon King and the Monster King were shocked, not expecting the creature to still be alive.

"Remember your promise, Helios! Continue your third attack!" shouted Kenan.

Aeera couldn't bear to watch Lord Kalandra take the final blow any longer; she would likely be destroyed after this. She had already heard something secret from Blacksmith Kai about the connection between the witch and her summoned creature. If there was no other way, Aeera would do it.

"Prepare to die, lowly creature!"

Helios drew his sword, an energy blade appearing and preparing to strike Kenan, who was floating in the air.

The sword was ready to be aimed, energy flaring, and the blade was ready to destroy Kenan's body.

Aeera looked at Kenan.

"Lord Kalandra!" Aeera shouted.

Kenan looked at Aeera as Helios's sword prepared to strike him.

"Thank you for accompanying me. I will never forget you, Lord Kalandra! Stay alive and forget about Aeera!"

What did she mean? Kenan was confused.

Aeera moved her hand, even though the energy still restrained her. However, Aeera didn't give up and took her necklace. The pearl on Aeera's necklace was the enchanted diamond in her wand. Aeera had kept it. She grasped the enchanted beads her mother had left her. Energy appeared in Aeera's hand, and she shattered the enchanted beads with her power.

"Farewell, Lord Kalandra. Live well! You are no longer my summoned creature. Return to where you came from!"

Kenan was shocked as Helios's giant sword approached him. Kenan's body was rapidly sucked into the sky, pulled from this world. So, Aeera had severed the bonds of her summoned creature! This was impossible.
