Legend of the Lightning Strike
54. Defeat Without Seeing the Enemy's Movement
The members of the Heavenly Troops began to disembark one by one, taking turns. Three had already disembarked, leaving only Alicia and Aji. Alicia was about to disembark first.
Alicia paused for a moment before getting off the train. "It seems you're hiding something from us, Aji. But rest assured, we will always be your partners in the fight against the Demon Lord and his army."
Alicia left those words to Aji and then disembarked. Aji himself felt that Alicia's character wasn't much different from Yonan's. They were very similar, even when it came to guessing other people's feelings. They were both very skilled.
Aji disembarked. Everyone was ready. They all walked in a line, guarded by soldiers standing beside the wall. They were accompanying the Heavenly Troops. Chief Yarko and Chief Gonan directed the Heavenly Troops members to follow them. They had been contacted by Dasatama to go to the meeting room.
The room was very large, with a long table and ample chairs. Chief Yarko and Chief Gonan stood in the front corner, a chair in the middle still empty. The members of the Heavenly Troops were invited to sit down first, each with a seat reserved for them.
A few moments later, the figure they had been waiting for arrived. It was Dasatama, the most revered God of War throughout the continent.
He was a very dashing figure, though he was probably over 40 years old. However, he looked incredibly muscular. He had several ornaments on his arms, carved with dragons and tiger heads. His regalia alone was enough to amaze others. His hair fell past his ears, but was neatly tied back, making him look incredibly dashing.
When he arrived, Chief Yarko and Chief Gonan stood to greet him. Dasatama smiled at all the Heavenly Troops and invited them to sit down.
Dasatama was a friendly figure, greeting all the new Heavenly Troop members, and everyone was pleased to be treated so well.
Next, Dasatama would find a suitable time to visit the Heavenly Troops office. Of course, for a show of strength, and if the members of the Heavenly Troops didn't mind, Dasatama could share and teach his moves.
All the members of the Heavenly Troops were happy to have the God of War teach them moves and powers.
They talked for a long time. Aji studied the God of War closely. He remembered something about that face. He remembered that the figure before him was a young man his friend Markus had once brought with him. Markus was a swordsman with a student.
Markus visited every important figure with his student, who was still young at the time. Markus had taught the young man his skills and approached each of the powerful warriors Markus knew.
Markus approached Ganada and asked Ganada to teach him his skills. For a month, the young man learned from Ganada, and then they left. They arrived at Yonan's residence, and Markus asked Yonan to teach him some of his skills.
A month later, Markus said goodbye to Yonan and his student and went to Pemukul Halilintar. Lightning Striker refused to teach the young man his martial arts skills. This was because Lightning Striker never wanted to take on any students in his life. That was his old belief.
Markus pleaded with the young man, his student, to gain enlightenment and learn techniques from the strongest men across the continent. However, Lightning Striker steadfastly refused.
Lightning Striker offered an alternative to avoid disappointing Markus. Lightning Striker would not teach his student any techniques. However, Lightning Striker wanted to spar with the young man and gauge his abilities.
If the young man were a genius, then he could learn his strength without Lightning Striker teaching him. Markus agreed and discussed the matter with the young man. The young man agreed and expressed his gratitude.
They were ready, and Lightning Striker and the young man competed. Lightning Striker wanted to show that the path of martial arts is vast and requires steadfastness. The Lightning Striker wanted to show the difference in their strength, so he used his full power.
Meanwhile, the young man unleashed all the skills he had learned from all the warriors. He was curious about the power of the Lightning Striker, who was said to be invincible. To be able to compete with him was a great stroke of luck for him.
"HIIIIIAAAAA!" The young man attacked confidently. However, as he approached the Lightning Striker, their distance was still far.
The light seemed to shatter at a lightning-fast speed, undetectable by the naked eye. The young man was shocked and knocked unconscious by the shock of the attack. The Lightning Striker had defeated him without him even realizing the force of the attack.
The young man was Dasatama, now a highly respected figure throughout the world. Dasatama was capable of becoming a powerful force and could be relied upon to uphold justice for the people across the continent.
In Dasatama's hands, the forces of darkness seemed to lose their grip. Several locations previously captured by the forces of darkness were easily destroyed by Dasatama, who swiftly resolved the cases brought in by intelligence officers.
The members of the Heavenly Troops were curious about the immense power possessed by the God of War. Lao was especially enthusiastic about conversing with the God of War, who was now standing right in front of him.
They engaged in a lively conversation. The Heavenly Troops were invited to discuss and ask any questions about government and combat power. Dasatama didn't hold back the conversation, focusing his time on serving the Heavenly Troops.
Astro, from Prisma City, didn't want to be left out and ventured to ask the God of War about his training methods, or what was behind Dasatama's strength, enabling him to become the powerful figure he is today.
Dasatama smiled as he sat, "Actually, I used to be too arrogant about my strength. I trained diligently. I met with great people to receive special instruction from them. Until I met an extraordinary figure who made me realize that there is still a sky above the sky."
Dasatama continued his story. That encounter was with the Legend of the Thunderbolt Striker. He thought that the Lightning Striker was arrogant and egotistical, but Dasatama thought he could still match the Lightning Striker's strength.
Dasatama shook his head slowly and smiled, "I even lost to the Lightning Striker without even seeing a single move."
Everyone was shocked to hear this. How could the young Dasatama lose to the Lightning Striker without even knowing a single move? This incident also awakened Dasatama from his arrogance. He then continued his training relentlessly, determined to become stronger and stronger.
The stronger he became, the weaker he felt, so Dasatama honed himself through relentless training and received instruction from the many great teachers he encountered.
