Legend of the Lightning Strike
57. Jiro's Strong Warrior Confidence
That afternoon, all the members of the Sky Troop gathered in front of the training field, at the residence of the Sky Troop. Chairman Yarko also came. They were talking and waiting for someone who had been specially appointed by Dasatama to train their powers.
They all became curious about who was appointed to train them.
A carriage appeared to be coming, and one person was driving the horse-drawn carriage. He stopped right at the entrance gate of the Heavenly Troop residence.
The members of the Sky Troop were quite curious to see who the figure would come out of the carriage. Until one foot came out in a very conspicuous shoe, like a mountain shoe with a weight that seemed very, very heavy. This was visible when it came down, making the train shake and tilt.
The other foot came out, and the carriage shook again. From the cloth on the carriage, a shadow of a face emerged, a sturdy body appeared, and he jumped to the ground and made the carriage appear as if it was about to collapse.
Clack!
When the burly man completely descended to the floor in front of the Heavenly Troop, it looked like there was quite a strong wind pressure hitting the members of the Heavenly Troop. It was like an angry wind that was about to blow them away.
The man, his arms slightly open, showed his muscular build, and he appeared to be in his thirties. He smiled at everyone, including Chairman Yarko. His mustache and beard were slightly long, and there was stubble around the edges of his ears.
Everyone knew him well, especially Chairman Yarko.
"Greetings, Warrior Jiro," Chairman Yarko greeted the muscular figure who smiled at him.
Jiro, who had just arrived, also saluted Chairman Yarko. Jiro was Dasatama's younger brother. Everyone knew him; he was Dasatama's trusted aide on important missions to eradicate crime.
Unfortunately, Jiro was someone who always disappeared when not needed on missions, and he always trained diligently. A short staff was visible on his back, his special weapon.
"Is everyone well, Chairman Yarko?" Jiro asked Chairman Yarko about his own health and that of the members of the Heavenly Troops.
"Everyone is well and ready to fight alongside the forces of good against the forces of darkness, Brother Jiro."
Jiro approached them and sat down with Chief Yarko. They hadn't seen each other for a long time, so they engaged in a lively conversation. The Heavenly Troops watched them both. They were still in awe of Jiro, a legendary warrior who had become a legend throughout the continent.
His immense strength allowed him to defeat dozens of men in sparring matches, and of course, he was only a few levels below Dasatama. Even then, they didn't know his current strength, as he was always absent from training and developing his martial arts.
Jiro was delighted and told Chief Yarko that he could meet him. It had been a long time since they had fought together against the criminals. Now, he had been specifically tasked with training the new members of the Heavenly Troops. He came down from his training to observe the abilities of the Heavenly Troops and was very proud to be their trainer.
He then asked Chief Yarko to introduce him to the members of the Heavenly Troops. They stood and faced the 21 Heavenly Troops. Chief Yarko introduced Jiro's fighters, most of whom were already very familiar with Jiro. They were also people who admired Jiro's strength.
Feeling flattered by the Heavenly Troops, Jiro felt humbled and refused to be overly praised. In the coming days, he would visit several times to train them all. This was because his own brother had assigned him to train the Heavenly Troops.
Today, he would begin to get to know them one by one. Leader Yarko excused himself, saying he had other duties, and invited them to get to know each other better and train together.
After Leader Yarko left, Warrior Jiro asked all the Heavenly Troops to introduce themselves one by one. Jiro finally learned that they were all great figures with great teachers. They indeed had accomplished schools and teachers, and some were even grandchildren of the legendary Yonan and Ganada.
Warrior Jiro spoke of the power of the three legends. He called them miracles of the world, inspired by the Creator. Their sacrifices were to enable future generations to live well and freely.
Warrior Jiro deeply respected them and was inspired to continue training and becoming strong to carry on their struggle.
One person who intrigued Jiro was Aji. He lacked a strong background, allowing him to join the Heavenly Army after facing numerous trials. He also revealed he had no established teacher, having trained alone for years.
Warrior Jiro refused to ask Aji to explain the details of his powers. However, over time, he would discover Aji's true strength.
As a first step in his training, Warrior Jiro wanted to see the abilities of each member of the Heavenly Army one by one. He began by examining their abilities as warriors, assassins, magicians, and so on. After that, he asked each member to demonstrate their best abilities through hands-on practice.
Barsha even impressed Warrior Jiro with her lightning-fast, shadow-like attacks. The attack damage from her dagger is also serious, inflicting a devastating effect on the objects it prepares to destroy. Astro, wielding a sword and able to generate energy within it, is also impressive.
Gayatri and Lao also demonstrated their cooperation in controlling energy weapons, capable of creating thousands of them, and maintaining their concentration on them.
"Are you the one who can impress Advisor Silvi?" Warrior Jiro learned some of the information he had gathered. He heard that Advisor Silvi was even impressed and acknowledged the ability of one of the Heavenly Troop members to unleash a devastating energy spear.
Warrior Jiro was proud to be a guide. Yes, Jiro mentioned that he was guiding the Heavenly Troop members, not teaching them. Jiro would try to simply guide them and provide guidance if anything went wrong in their power training. Warrior Jiro himself had sought instruction from many great teachers, trained with them, and traveled to various places to train.
He would share his vast experience with the Heavenly Troop members, allowing them to quickly and concisely learn from his extensive training experience.
That was what Dasatama hoped for when he assigned Warrior Jiro to the Heavenly Troop members.
Jiro was well-versed in the world's situation, as he was constantly on adventures. He had learned that the dark forces led by the Demon Lord were about to reclaim control of the world after failing twenty years ago.
This time, all the good warriors were prepared to fight them. This was unlike twenty years ago, when three men took it upon themselves to fight thousands, even hundreds of thousands, of the dark forces that threatened to destroy the world. The three of them sacrificed themselves to protect humanity.
This time, their struggle would not be in vain. They had awakened the warriors to unite and defeat the dark forces. The warrior Jiro found enlightenment from his reflection; this time, he wanted to fight alongside the warriors who wanted to bring peace to the entire continent.
That was Jiro's strong belief.
