Naura's Tears

15. Overflowing Happiness

At a hotel, a lodging in a town near Adam's village, the group of six people who had departed from the central capital was resting separately. Diandra shared a room with a female assistant, while her mother, Sarah, shared a room with her husband, who had arrived the night before.

At the far end of the room, a young woman was sleeping comfortably, as if she had just been overcome by extreme fatigue. An older woman was also lying in a large chair next to the room. It was a VIP room, so it was very spacious, and the female assistant was looking after her young lady.

The sound of cars and motorcycles began to be heard, one by one. Morning was beginning to greet her at dawn. Diandra's supple fingers began to move. One by one. Her clean, beautiful fingers moved slowly, from her index finger, then her middle finger, then her little finger. It seemed as if her owner was awakening from her night's sleep and, as usual, was preparing herself to wake up and move.

Her fingers were like a resonance; her sightless eyes and paralyzed legs had indeed made her life different from most others. As she began to regain consciousness from her sleep, the beautiful girl prayed, preparing herself for the day. Her mother had diligently taught her that the most important thing was to begin everything with prayer. And it became a habit she never abandoned.

Her right and left fingers began to move more and more, curving up and down, alternating. Diandra's imagination also took flight, as she could only imagine in her mind every piece of information she received through her ears. Her imagination was always at play, a pleasure for her, like the indescribable pleasure of a normal person having eyes that could see and, through them, imagine the beauty of the world.

Diandra's consciousness had also returned, a typical way for her to try to regain her memory. Yes, it was Sunday, the day before she had visited the home of the young man whose tears could heal the sick.

Right!

Hadn't she already been doing therapy by rubbing her blind eyes and paralyzed legs? It was Sunday, and she was awake, which meant she was bragging about her recovery and imagining how wonderful it would be if it really happened and she was healed. Truly, wonderful.

Diandra smiled to herself, even though she didn't dare try to open her eyes. She didn't dare open them for fear that her imagination was just a figment of her imagination. It was more beautiful to enjoy her imagination and be fooled into thinking she could see.

But what if she could actually see, and it really happened?

Diandra moved her eyelids like someone closing them, and closed them, teasing her eyeballs. She wanted to open them, but she was afraid that it would be like usual, but also wanted to open them, wondering what it would be like if she could actually see. Her feelings were suddenly mixed, unlike before, when she hadn't even believed in the therapy from Adam's tears.

Diandra had to believe that everything was from God and not worry about whether it would work or not. After all, she had lived all this time happily, even though she couldn't see and her legs were paralyzed. However, Diandra tried to experiment, like the experiments she often heard in the stories her mother told her.

Diandra tried to feel her legs. She couldn't move them, despite medical therapy, but it was as if she could only feel them, like wood, and she couldn't move them.

Still with her eyes closed, Diandra tried to feel her legs again. She felt from her thighs to her fingertips. Now she felt her fingertips.

Start!

Diandra tried to slowly move her big toe. Could she? And with all her might, she moved her big toe. For some reason, she felt something moving in her foot. Was that true?

A sudden surge of happiness arose, and Diandra suddenly experienced a different sensation, unlike usual. Just now, it was real, wasn't it, a fantasy? She felt one of her fingers move.

"Auntie! Aunt Jamil!"

Jamilah, who was called Auntie, was startled from her sleep on the sofa not far from Diandra. She stuttered and immediately got up as quickly as possible to approach her mistress.

"What's wrong, Miss Diandra? W-what, No,na, do you want me to help you into your wheelchair?"

There was no answer, but Jamilah was surprised to see Diandra's lips curling into a happy smile. What made the girl happy? Jamilah was curious.

"Auntie..."

"Yes, Miss, what's wrong?"

"Auntie, Auntie... take a good look at Diandra's feet and tell me what's going on, Auntie."

Jamilah became curious, looking at Diandra's feet, which were usually stretched out and pointing upwards. There was nothing wrong.

"What's wrong with Miss Diandra's feet? It's fine, Miss, it's normal."

"Wait, wait, Auntie, take a good look. Diandra will try again."

Diandra kept her eyes closed, but she felt her feet again and focused on her toes. Diandra tried to force herself to move them. And sure enough, a miracle seemed to happen, something unprecedented. Her big toe and the two toes next to it slowly moved, moving back and forth.

"Masyaallah! Miss, Miss Diandra's toes are moving!" Jamilah's face suddenly lit up, as if amazed at Miss Diandra's condition.

"Really, Miss... Diandra wasn't lying. I can feel her feet moving."

Jamilah immediately understood what she had to do. She asked Miss Diandra to wait a moment while she went to her master and mistress, Hamid and Sarah, in their rooms. Their rooms were right next to each other, and they had to witness Diandra's miraculous progress.

Diandra agreed. Jamilah immediately rushed out and headed to her master and mistress's room. She knocked on the door, and Mrs. Sarah was told that Diandra's legs could move.

Sarah immediately informed her husband, who was still asleep, looking exhausted. However, when Jamilah told her what had happened, he immediately got up enthusiastically and changed his clothes to head to his daughter's hotel room.

A few minutes later, the three of them—Hamid, Sarah, and Aunt Jamilah—entered Diandra's room together. They entered the room, and there was another room, as the door indicated the guest room of the hotel, and they immediately entered the room.

However, they were speechless about what the three of them saw. Everyone was stunned into silence, like someone witnessing an unfathomable miracle they had never seen before. They were completely speechless and speechless.

In front of them, near Diandra's bedroom, Diandra was standing, her smile widening, revealing her sparkling white teeth. Diandra stood, her eyes even puffier as she saw the three people who had just arrived.
