Naura's Tears

37. Returning the Favor

Adam went around and inspected every aspect. His life now had to be beneficial to himself, his family, and others. He had to repay the pain of the past few years with productivity.

After gathering everyone to discuss and identify any shortcomings in the development of the Heaven's Spring project, Adam then recorded every idea and opinion in his notebook.

He wasn't afraid to accept suggestions from anyone. The meeting concluded, and they returned to work.

After dismissal, Adam returned to another location. This time, he visited a housing complex outside and to the right of Heaven's Spring. Many buyers had already occupied the homes, and some had even purchased them but hadn't yet moved in, thinking they could go there on vacation. Others were also interested in investing, enjoying the natural beauty of Lake Kenanga, which was sure to be bustling with activity in the coming years.

After leaving, Adam went to the housing complex and directly monitored Firlan, the manager and person in charge of all activities at the complex. Firlan was entrusted with managing the housing complex because his major and expertise were in property and architecture. Adam entrusted the task to Firlan.

After Adam and Firlan left, a staff member took out his cell phone. He was behind the main base camp where all the managers of the Spring of Heaven gathered. He dialed a number on his phone.

The call rang, and a response came from the other end.

The star, named Ranu, greeted the person on the other end, and the person on the other end answered.

"Adam needs something right now, and he's enthusiastic about establishing it somewhere in Spring of Heaven."

On the other end, the man who received Ranu's call immediately called his master, who spoke to Ranu. Ranu explained the meeting and explained how enthusiastic Adam was about building a clinic to make it easier for the community to get medical treatment.

The man on the other end was Mr. Lukman. He had been keeping an eye on Adam until now. He promised to give him a gift sincerely, even though Adam initially refused, but he still tried to ensure that he would not have a burden for the rest of his life on the person who helped him.

"Mr. Adam needs an investor, sir, and he definitely wouldn't want it to be a one-off favor."

Ranu's explanation showed how well she knew her boss. Lukman, as Governor, nodded and thanked Ranu for the information. Now, Lukman's task was to find a way to convince Adam to accept his gift.

Lukman spoke with his best staff member, who always accompanied him. He possessed broad perspectives, and Lukman readily accepted his proposal. This time, Lukman accepted his proposal.

The man, named Ardo, would come and offer an investment in the clinic Adam was planning. In fact, Ardo had been instructed by Lukman to ensure the clinic, which would be entrusted to his business, was a hospital, and that the permits would be obtained promptly.

Indeed, Lukman was afraid that Adam would reject him again, further unsettling him. So, he agreed to Ardo's suggestion, and Ardo would take care of it, offering to invest in the hospital near Heaven's Spring.

Mr. Lukman gave Ardo full authority to negotiate and ensure everything ran smoothly. Adam needed a financial injection, but in the form of a partnership. Lukman Hakim understood that Adam would not accept a grant from him.

Ardo was ready to carry out the task. He prepared everything to expedite the partnership process with Adam.

Ardo, already experienced, contacted Adam the next day and asked to speak privately. Adam agreed and invited him to meet at Heaven Spring on the shores of Lake Kenanga.

The meeting took place. Ardo confidently stated that this place would be a great opportunity for business and the good of many. He firmly offered a full investment for the establishment of a hospital, not a clinic.

Initially in disbelief, Adam asked how Ardo learned about everyone in Heaven's Spring to establish a clinic or medical facility.

Ardo explained that people behind Adam's back had told him about it. He was interested in establishing a medical clinic. Ardo admitted that he had been offered the opportunity to establish a hospital in Heaven's Spring. After inspecting the location, Ardo agreed and was ready to invest not solely for profit but also to help others.

Adam agreed with Ardo's collaborative approach and tactful words. They also reached agreements on how the hospital would operate.

They both pooled their ideas, making notes for operations and ensuring that Ardo would handle the permits directly. One of the reasons Adam agreed was that Ardo might be able to live and enjoy the spring in his old age. He had purchased a residential property. He wanted to enjoy the fresh air and the clear waters of the lake every afternoon.

Adam was pleased to hear this; in his old age, Ardo wanted to be able to easily seek medical treatment, as if it were his own home.

They agreed. How much money was needed, and how would the hospital be built? Adam didn't think much about it, saying they would work with a consultant to finalize the details.

Ardo agreed to a profit-sharing system and agreed to the terms of the Mata Air Surga business. Adam didn't want that, offering fifty-fifty, which meant half of the net profit after deducting costs, including expenses incurred during the period, plus zakat.

Ardo agreed. Adam smiled, realizing that God is quick to answer prayers. Although not all prayers are answered immediately, some are even saved for later in the afterlife.

There's a benefit to everything.

Adam then mapped out the remaining land that would be suitable for a hospital. This would make Mata Air Surga even more comfortable for everyone.

Meanwhile, Ardo said goodbye, explaining that he would use the funds after liaising with the consultant and planning together how to make the hospital at Mata Air Surga truly beneficial.

Adam saw Ardo off for a few steps, remaining silent as he watched him walk home. One more problem solved, hopefully, everything would go smoothly and be blessed by God. As Adam prayed, Ardo departed in his car.

This time, perhaps Adam would move his mother, Halimah, to Spring of Heaven. He would move into one of the housing complexes, where his mother could enjoy her retirement and always see the beauty and beauty.

The sun began to rise again, and Adam glanced at it for a moment. It was so dazzling, he hurried back to see firsthand all the operations and progress of Spring of Heaven.
