Two Revenge of Lightning
12. Mission to Take Over the Country
"I have sent the details to your leaders."
Everyone was silently listening to the middle-aged man; he was so firm and in control of the meeting. Each of the assassin houses sent five people to the meeting.
Bagas tried to remain calm and unaffected. He had to know what was being prepared for the joint mission.
"One thing is certain, as long as the mission preparations are complete. All of you must reduce all assassination orders. That is, prepare for everything. I will reimburse all of your expenses."
Everyone there nodded.
"What are our benefits after this mission succeeds?" someone asked from the other side of Alice. Bagas caught a glimpse of him. Someone from Black Iron was one of the elite assassins. James had met him. These important people are gathered here.
"Good, good question."
The tough man looked around. He looked at everyone and smiled.
"You will all be in my shadow. We will rule this country, whatever you want. I will fulfil it."
[Your time is up; the mark is released.]
Wooosh! A strong wind pulled Bagas' soul away.
Hah! Hah! Hah!
Bagas was sucked back in; he was back in his body in the toilet. His head was a little dizzy, but he was able to get that important information. So, is there a connection to him being killed by his group in this? Why is this so close in time?
Bagas remembered about James' soul; back then, there was an important meeting at the Dark Head. And Bagas was not involved, and it was just a normal meeting. James was asked to be in charge of killing the most famous rebel. Bagas targeted the rebel because he had committed many civilian murders. The government paid very dearly.
James did the job, hunting and hiding for two months. And when James' assignment was successful, Dark Head threw a successful party for James. That's when James was killed.
Bagas starts to piece it all together, so what excuse did the Dark Head make to stop James?
It's all getting connected.
Bagas came out of the toilet; he had the details. They all want to rule this country. And the one person who was fully responsible for this mission was the highest general in the national defence force.

Inspector Jodi was sitting in her office. Tonight, she hasn't come home yet. There have been a lot of crimes lately. Crime is high; is this also the result of the economic recession? Criminal cases are increasing, while the police have so many duties.
Besides, sometimes, as the Inspector General, he understands that there are a lot of corrupt officials. They couldn't be touched, and the investigation into them would definitely stop. That was very troublesome!
To be an honest policeman, it was very difficult in times like these.
Drrrt! Drrrt!
Jodi's cell phone vibrated, and the melody was soft. Who? It's a new number, and it's a call from a pay phone. It was a call specifically for her, not a work phone number.
"Greetings, who is it?"
There was a short silence, and Jodi began to listen carefully as a soft voice came from the other side.
"Listen to me carefully, Inspector Jodi. I will not repeat this information."
That voice—that same voice from back then— The voice of Shadow Eagle
"The joint mission of the assassin organisation has been made; they have a big boss to take over the country. I haven't gotten the details yet, but it's going to be a big mission because it involves the leader of this country. You can believe it or not, but this is the reality."
"But..."
Tut! Tut! Tut!
The connection was severed. Shadow Eagle had already switched off the connection. Police Inspector General Jodi was confused; this was a big case if it really happened. Shadow Eagle's words didn't show any lies. However, why would Shadow Eagle's assassin want to uncover all the cases of the killers? Is he a traitor to the group?
Ah!
Jodi is still confused by all this; crime is on the rise, and an army of assassins is targeting the country. What exactly is being planned to take over the country?
Jodi sets his pen in place; he has to go home and see his wife and child. He needs to rest; there is a meeting of the country's elite defence forces scheduled in two days. For the time being, Jodi has no evidence. So he will keep a lid on all information about the killers. Jodi will investigate further about the assassins' plan.
There is so much crime in this city—in fact, in all cities in the country. A security guard should serve with justice and not with bribes.

The party was still going on. Government officials as well as businessmen listened to a few words from the Minister of Economy. The speech was to strengthen the unity between bureaucrats and businessmen as an economic recession was occurring in the country. So, they are expected to work together to solve the economic crisis of the whole society.
The event continued with conversations between businessmen, bureaucrats, and law enforcers.
Mahmud met with many businessmen, who congratulated him on regaining his health and continuing to run the company under his control. Mahmud has not been able to hand over the companies to his children. Previously, when he was sick, Romi was the one who took care of all the finances of all the companies.
And everyone knew that Romi had not been able to manage the company well, resulting in losses in several areas. Mahmud immediately took over, and it only took 15 days after she recovered. The companies were back on their feet and raking in record profits.
"Are you well again, Grandpa Mahmud?" A man greeted Mahmud.
The man was well known to Mahmud. Mahmud greeted him back and welcomed his handshake. Bagas was behind his grandfather, along with his bodyguards and Khalid.
Bagas did not change anything about his attitude; he remained calm. The man who met his grandfather was Bison. The man at the head of the national defence forces is the highest general in the country. And he was the one who met with the representatives of the assassin organisation. Bison was escorted by several elite troops behind him.
"We'd like to ask for good security from the state forces; of course we'd like our business to proceed safely," Mahmud said as he fixed the staff he was carrying.
"Of course, grandfather Mahmud. I will do my best to ensure that the economy of all the people is good and prosperous. We will always catch any criminals who interfere."
Bison's smile was cheerful; he was so burly and authoritative. Since the military was led by him for two terms, security was tight, and businessmen could run their businesses well. However, underneath it all, All businessmen knew that there was a secret deposit to be made to the military leader, and it was necessary for each businessman's business to be safe.
"Alright, Grandpa Mahmud. Enjoy the party; I will meet other businessmen and bureaucrats."
The two separated, with Bagas following his grandfather past the leader of the country.
Srak!
Bagas fell; he was balancing his body. He stumbled and crashed into Bison's left shoulder. The few guards behind Bison sprang into action and pulled out their weapons. The situation was very tense.
"Pardon me. Forgive me." I tripped."
Bison was almost angry; his eyes bulged, and he looked at Bagas, who released his grip on his hand.
"Forgive, forgive my grandson, General Bison. He's still a beginner, and I deliberately invited him to learn to recognise others."
Bison coded the guards to lower their guns, and it was safe again.
"No problem; your grandson looks very cute, Grandpa Mahmud."
With the bison gone, Mahmud could breathe a sigh of relief. It was a close call, but fortunately, there were so many people at the event. Bagas was careless enough to fall, and Mahmud apologised once more to Bison until they left.
Bagas also bowed as Bison left, and he also apologised. He had a small smile on his face as he lowered his head.
A mark is given; you have two marks on the body of the person who corresponds to your revenge mission. The second mark, Bison
